Summary:  

Please join the family of Healthy Hearts Plus II – Mommies, Bellies, Babies and Daddies in  welcoming our new addition to the sister circle community. Anayla Clanton was born to Anyah  Billups and Jawan Clanton on Wednesday, August 17th, 2022, at 4:30pm. Anayla was born by  way of vaginal delivery. Father and maternal grandmother were present during the delivery. The  baby weighed 6lbs 6oz. and was19 inches long. She successfully latched on for breastfeeding  and she continues to breastfeed well. Please note the client Anyah Billups did not contact the  doula or back up doula when she went into labor. Anyah had the support of her mother and the  baby’s father during labor and delivery. Our community birth worker/doula with Mommies,  Bellies, Babies and Daddies as well as other moms in our sister circle community will support  her as she transitioned from pregnancy to mother of a newborn baby. Additionally, she will  receive three follow up home visits starting on Thursday August 25, 2022.Lastly, a virtual visit  will be completed, and her new mommy’s basket will be delivered following the guidelines set  forth by our Governor and the State of Virginia regarding social distancing. In the meantime, we  will communicate with our new mom utilizing teleconferencing and zoom. She will continue to  receive her food bags to help support her nutritional needs. We are very proud of our new mom!  Welcome Baby Anayla.
